Our Mission
Our mission at ISeeU Blankets™ is to let patients and families know that they are seen through the gift of a handmade fleece blanket. Each fabric is meticulously cut and tied, leading to a beautiful blanket that will bring warmth and hope to the recipient.
Our Journey
December 2019 – Our Founding Vision
The seed for ISeeU Blankets™ was planted with our very first creations, born from a heartfelt desire to bring tangible comfort and visibility to a patient and his family during their most difficult moments.
Early 2020 – Circle of Community Support
Our journey was uplifted by the kindness of colleagues whose steady donations and encouragement provided the vital resources needed to help this mission flourish and grow.
May–June 2020 – Meeting a Critical Need
As the world faced the pandemic, our production surged to meet an overwhelming need, ensuring that warmth and hope reached those isolated in hospitals when it was needed most.
January 2021 – Spiritual Partnership and Growth
Our community expanded as volunteers from the Sisters of St. Joseph Provincial Center in NJ joined our mission, dedicating their time and craft to help us touch more lives.
March 2022 – Youthful Hearts Joining Us
Youth energy transformed our efforts as local Girl Scout troops began pitching in, bringing passion and dedication to creating and delivering blankets to those in the community.
July 2024 – A Lasting Legacy Secured
A major milestone was reached as ISeeU Blankets™ officially received our trademark, securing the future of our charity’s name and logo as we continue to grow.
