How are the blankets distributed?
We partner directly with local hospitals and care centers. Our volunteer teams safely deliver high-quality blankets to patient units where they are most needed. Some examples include (but are not limited to) the SICU, MICU, CTICU, and PICU!
Can I donate a blanket I made myself?
Absolutely. We love handmade blankets from our community! However, they must meet our specific size and material guidelines (usually new, clean, and smoke/fume-free) to comply with hospital safety standards. Many websites offer easy-to-use fleece blanket kits.
How does my donation help the mission?
Financial donations cover the cost of sourcing high-quality materials and the logistics of making and delivering these blankets to patients across the hospital.
Where can I drop off blanket donations?
Drop off locations can be coordinated with the founder, Ally, until a collection and distribution center can be created.
